Dr. Jacqueline Sherrod has been a trusted and compassionate veterinarian in the Knoxville community for over 25 years. Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine in the fourth grade and has pursued her dream ever since. Dr. Sherrod is a proud graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and a member of the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association. She also serves as a founding board member of the Alliance of Doctoral Women, reflecting her commitment to leadership and service within her field.
Dr. Sherrod has called Knoxville home for over 30 years after marrying a Knoxvillian. She cherishes her family, which includes her daughter, granddaughter, and her beloved "furkids": a dog named Lucy, a cat named Mango, and a bird named Pearl.
Dr. Sherrod provides exceptional care for a wide range of patients, including dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, rats, and small birds. She remains at the forefront of veterinary medicine by completing over 20 hours of Continuing Education each year, ensuring she stays up to date with the latest advancements in the field.
With a deep sense of compassion and dedication, Dr. Sherrod considers it a privilege to care for your pets. She is committed to keeping them healthy through preventive medicine and quality care, promoting happy and fulfilling lives for her patients.
When she’s not caring for animals, Dr. Sherrod enjoys spending her free time crocheting, reading, bike riding, and playing the violin.
